We've spent the past couple of 3D sessions concentrating on character creation; what goes into building a character.
We made a few odd sketches of different ideas, then chose one we liked the look of to take further.
I had a cheeky little worm, (stop it!), I liked:
...then more sketches. A front, side and top view. I also started to think about how the little guy would move, or creep or slither along:
Then we got out some 'old-skool' plasterscene to model our characters with! Niiiiice. This made it very easy to visualise our creations in 3D, and gave a good oppertunaty to those of us who can't draw to add some accurate shape and detail:
